Baptism is a Swedish-owned brand, founded by Fredrik Strömgren, which hand manufactures its rackets in the same Spanish top factories as Siux and Vibor-A. What distinguishes baptismal from other racket marks is that their rackets have a rubber surface, which the factory has a patent and baptism has exclusive rights to in Sweden. Like surfaces with structure, the rubber surface gives spin in the blows while the rubber reduces the vibrations that occur at a ball hit. Baptism has also chosen not to have holes in the middle of the rackets and to only make rackets as drop hybrids as it according to baptisms enlarges the rackets' sweetspot.
